Mt. Nittany Yoga Teacher Training
Our
250-hour Yoga Teacher Training is a state-approved diploma program
and is registered with the Yoga Alliance, preparing students
to begin work as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
The Yoga taught in the Mt.
Nittany program features an attention to the detail of alignment of
the classical postures of Patanjali, codified more than 4000 years
ago. Our approach to the exploration of the postures is one of
gentleness and compassion for the self and a continual returning to
the experience of the present moment. Each student's strengths
and limitations are respected as a doorway to learning,
self-awareness, and compassion for others. Students of all
shapes and sizes, and from all yoga traditions are welcome.
This program is perfect for the aspiring teacher or enthusiastic
student of yoga.
